Venita Blackburn

Works by Venita Blackburn have appeared or are forthcoming in DIAGRAM, Apogee, Iowa Review, Foglifter, Electric Literature, the Paris Review and others. She received the Prairie Schooner book prize for fiction, which resulted in the publication of her collected stories, Black Jesus and Other Superheroes, in 2017. In 2018 she earned a place as a finalist for the PEN/Bingham award for debut fiction, finalist for the NYPL Young Lions award and recipient of the PEN America Los Angeles literary prize in fiction. She is founder of the literary nonprofit Live, Write (livewriteworkshop.com), which provides free creative writing workshops for communities of color. Blackburn’s second collection of stories, How to Wrestle a Girl, will be published fall of 2021 by MCD of Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Her home town is Compton, California, and she is an Assistant Professor of creative writing at California State University, Fresno.

Caleigh Camara is an avid reader and aspiring writer from Hanford, CA. She is currently in her third year of undergrad, majoring in English with a minor in Creative Writing. Her post-college goals include getting an editorial job and adopting a cat. Though she dabbles in both poetry and prose, she's more likely to pick up a novel on a rainy day.

Bekah is a senior wrapping up her final semester at Fresno State and getting her BA in english with a minor in creative writing. She plans on getting her MFA after graduation and currently does not nor does she ever plan to take any selfie of herself seriously.
Carly Regehr

Carly Regehr is a fifth-year English student with a focus in creative writing. She spends her free time writing and reading poetry, playing with her cat, and working on extra-curricular activities. She is an aspiring poet and plans to continue her education in graduate school and beyond.
