Fangs - Isabella De La Torre

A white and brown cat lit from one side and shadowed on the other hissing and showing its fangs.

Why is

a feline dismembered in the name of Lucifer incarnate

as it sleeks around, drinking the blood of young mothers?

I wonder if the taste was enough for the barbed tongue to wither from the acidity

Is a child strong enough

to withstand a vampiric bite leaking the afflictions of generational burdens

of every woman

who came before her?

Will living creatures remember the names

of sharp-fanged cats and wounded girls?
